But, in Karnataka students who scored minimum 40% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology marks in 10+2 exam are eligible for admission.

Considering that you are a general candidate, 85% is quite decent score for getting a seat in good colleges in Karnataka  and Bangalore through counseling.
