If you are a general category student the you are in a trouble since your percentile should be not enough to qualify for jee main.

Your rank would be around 1.5 lakh which is not suitable for getting admission into nits and also you need to qualify jee mains with good marks to get into some nit,so ther is no option for you into grtting into any nit also.

You should start preparing for april attempt of jee mains since it is not sure that you will qualify with 86 percentile.
