To apply for NIT colleges there are 2 types of quotas :

• Home quota :

This refers to taking admission in NIT colleges in your own state. 

• Other state quota : 

This refers to taking admission in NIT colleges in other states (except your own state). 

To get admission in other state NIT colleges you should have a ranking of less than 15000.

But if you are applying for NIT college in your own state, this is the list of colleges with their closing ranks applicable to you :
