OBC category certificate is a plus point for you. But only for central and not other states.

If you have state OBC certificate ,it will be valid only for the particular state from which state it's issued.

Central obc category certificate doesn't works for state institutions.

So it's better if you apply for the OBC certificate in Maharashtra, if you are applying for Mht-cet.
