You did remarkably well in your exams. You are already eligible for appearing in merit list cut-offs. So you need to clear the entrance exams of whichever college you are determined to go to. Entrance exams are a basic necessity of government colleges so don't worry they will be of the level of your previous class. Once you clear entrance and your name are available on the list issued by the college you can take admission.

It completely depdms upon how well you perform in the entrnace examination such that you must clear cuttofs with a good tank that will ultimately help you in getting more preference.

See, you can get admission directly too but not in government college. For getting admission into a government college you must pass the entrnace examination for getting into a particular college.
