For a student with a JEE percentile of 91 and a board score of 95.9, the general fee structure for a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is as follows: Government Colleges (e.g., NITs, IIITs, GFTIs) :
Tuition Fee : Rs. 1,00,000 to Rs. 1,50,000 per year
Hostel and Mess Charges : Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 60,000 per year
Other Charges : Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 20,000 per year
Total Estimated Cost : Rs. 4 to 6 lakhs for the full course Private Engineering Colleges :
Tuition Fee : Rs. 1,50,000 to Rs. 3,00,000 per year
Hostel and Other Charges : Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,00,000 per year
Total Estimated Cost : Rs. 7 to 12 lakhs for the full course
Note: Scholarships, fee waivers, and government schemes are available for meritorious or economically weaker students in both categories.
