If u r looking for good engineering colleges : IIT s and NITS and IIT s

Than u have to get minimum 75% marks in12.

But if you are looking for private or some near by college than its all depends on the college what are their condition.

Generally above 75%

All colleges give admissions. Except some high colleges.

Class 11 marks does not play any role in taking admission in engineering colleges only marks scored in class 12 matters and it depends on the Eligibility criteria for different colleges for JEE it is 75%

For getting admission in engineering colleges you must give different entrance exams which are accepted by the college or university you want to take admission in. If you want admission in IIITs,NITs then you have to give JEE Mains. If you want to study in IIT then you have to give JEE Advance which can be given after qualifying for JEE Mains. If you want to study in private institutes then there are entrance exams conducted by that respective private institute.

Also to get admission in State Government Colleges you must give entrance exam conducted by that particular state for admission.
