According to your percentile, your CRL rank must be around 40,000 and category rank in the range 9500-9700. With this rank, you have many options of good NITs and IIITs but not in computer science branch. I will list down some lower NITs and IIITs in which you might get Computer Science too.

1. IIIT Pune

2. IIIT Nagpur

3. NIT Manipur

4. IIIT Sri City

5. NIT Mizoram

6. IIIT Ranchi

7. IIIT Vadodara

8. IIIT Bhopal

Note that the IIITs mentioned above are currently operating in their temporary campuses. Check out the link below to explore more college options according to your rank.

Hi,

You need to mention your category rank as well so that we can provide closing ranks for colleges based on that rank neither did you mention your home state. Since you did not mention any, I will assume that you are going for OPEN seat and Other State quota and your All India Rank is in the range of 34966 - 27838. For this range, for Computer Science Engineering in NITs, you may have a decent change to get into :

  • National Institute of Technology Sikkim (closing rank: 26007)
  • National Institute of Technology Arunachal Pradesh (closing rank: 27307)
  • National Institute of Technology, Manipur (closing rank: 28003)
  • National Institute of Technology, Mizoram (closing rank: 29040)

You can use our College Predictor tool for JEE Mains to help you in finding college and branch of your choice based on your merits in the exam.

Good Luck
