JoSAA will consider 'best of two' score as far as JEE Main is considered, for the allotment of NITs,IIITs and GFTIs. JEE Advanced scores are separate and will be considered for admission into IITs irrespective of whether you score low or high in that.

See 192k rank is not bad for SC category.. In fact it is considered good as it might get you admission in some top branches of good government colleges of home state.
But as far as your query is concerned, JEE-ADVANCED score is utilized for giving admissions in IIT whereas through MAINS, you can get NITs,CFTIs or some very good pvt colleges.
If you got less rank in JEE-ADVANCED that won't impact your MAINS score at all. The only thing would be that you won't be able to secure a seat at good IITs and the same goes for JEE-Mains.
