Hello Senthil,

Congrats for scoring 96.8 percentile in JEE main paper 2.

We can't say that what NIT you wil get but we can predict the rank with this percentile .

There is a pedicted formula from our team to predict rank

Total No of students = 145386

Formula

Probable Rank= ( 100 - your NTA percentile ) x 145386 / 100

So your predicted rank  =5815 approx

Our Team predicted that the qualify cutt off would be above 85 percentile .But it just a prediction .So pleae wait till april.

Your have  scored very  good percentile so according to me you can get admission in following NIT's...

National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli, Tamilnadu

National Institute of Technology, Warangal, Andhra Pradesh

National Institute of Technology, Surathkal, Karnataka

Moulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, M.P

Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad, U.P

National Institute of Technology, Calicut, Kozhikode, Kerala

National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, West Bengal

National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh

Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, Rajasthan

Dr. B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, Punjab

I hope you get my point.

Good Luck!!!

Hello Senthil,

  Thanks for approaching Careers360 !!!

Considering the NTA percentile you have mentioned your probable General rank is around 37,769 (It may change depending on various cercumstances). As of we now we are unable to predict your marks, but you can use your probable rank for inference. Your rank is good enough to get admission in NITs. You may not get top NITs with top branches but you can get good branch in some other NITs. You also have the options of IIITs and also if you do well in Jee Advance then you will also be elligible for IITs. So, prepare well and keep faith in youself... Good Luck !!!

Hello senthil...

firstly congratulation for your result. according to previous year cutoff your rank according to your percentile would be around 29-30k in general . if you have a category with you then you will get seat in NITs . but it may be a problem if you are general. so i will suggest you to apply for jee main which will be conducted in  april and improve yours result.

Best of luck
