I got 98.88 percentile on jee mains 2020.If I have to chose between a lower ranked trade in higher ranked NIT or Higher ranked trade in lower ranked college ,what should I go for?

Well it depends upon your interest if you are clear with the branch you want to pursue then you should choose the best college in which you can get that branch if this is not the case with you then for that it depends on your priorities like if you want to go for research then you can choose the good college over good branch similarly if you want to get job then also you should choose good college over good branch in any  prefer college rather than branch
