Hello aspirant,

According to the ISC rules percentage is calculated according to the best 4 but according to NIT's and IITs 75% marks are calculated using the marks of physics, chemistry and mathematics and this three subjects would be compulsory included while calculating percentage and then it should be more than 75% so calculate your percentage accordingly.

Hello Sayantan,
You should score 75% or above is your 12th boards. Since you have scored 78% you are eligible to write JEE Advanced and can get admission in the top tier NIT colleges.
