When filling welingkar application form a student is asked his/her preferences of course. A total 8 preferences are provided for the candidate to select. However, the college allots the final course to candidate on the basis of performance of student in wat/pi rounds. Since you have already got your final selection letter there is not much scope for you to change the course given in your case. However, you can try reaching out the college personally and ask them if they can admit a change in course.
