Hey Atrix,

Answer to your question is simple. If you want to hold the seat allocated to you, then pay the fee and then apply for the next round.You can even apply for the next round without paying fee for the seat allocated in round 1.But the part difficult to digest is if you don't get a seat there,The effort of yours for getting a merit seat gets wasted.So all I can say you is make sure you don't lose your seat.
