The college has both good and bad points as any other college would. The infrastructure at Cochin University College Of Engineering is quite bad. The good thing is that the placements aren't bad. Many tier-A companies visit the college every year for job opportunities. They give an average salary package of 5 Lakh per annum. Each department consists of 20 faculty. They are good and knowledgeable and also helpful towards the students. They encourage the students to learn and not just mug up the chapters for an examination. Semester toppers are provided with scholarships which provides them with encouragement.
