Hello Neeraj, congratulations on securing 178 marks in JEE Mains!
According to last year’s trends and cut-off, your rank with 178 marks should be in the vicinity of 15000-20000 which can get you a seat in a good NIT for sure but it depends on the stream you want to pursue, i.e., you can apply for IT or Mechanical but it is nearly impossible to get CSE at NIT with that rank. But don’t be disappointed, there are many other good colleges to where you can pursue CSE with this rank and if you’re lucky enough, this year’s cut-off might be lower than last year and thus, you might get CSE at a good NIT.
