As per your query.you want to change a branch.for this you have to score a minimum 8.5 cpga in first sem exam .then you have to applied for branch change.only top ten student are eligible for change branch in a section.

You should be in first year and if you got your branch, now you can't change it for this one year if there is no sliding left but if you'll study hard and get good cumulative percentage in first year , there will be an opportunity for you in the starting of second year to get change your branch . Hope you ll get what you want.
