2)Do you have any kind of branch preference or not.

IIIT Pune is very new, it is not been ranked yet. If you are too determined about cse or even and can assure yourself that you can do everything by yourself then you can go for it. However if you don't have any branch preference, then I would suggest don't choose IIIt Pune.
Rather than that, opt for some NIT in the region you mentioned.
Atlast the decision has to be yours
