According to your rank and category , you can try for some iiit's like pune , bhagalpur , una , surat , kalyani etc which have lower cutoff , otherwise you can try for your home state nit also , as the cutoff is generally lower , same is the case with north eastern nit's , the cutoff is generally lesser . good colleges like bit mesra and pec chandigarh also participate in josaa , so you can get a decent branch like production etc , in them .

Do apply for your home state counselling also as you can get some good state government engineering colleges in your state .  Hence do apply for the csab round and state government counselling and you might get a good college .
