Dear Student,
I have given the review of Amrita school of Engineering based on the following parameters.
Placements : placements in college are pretty good. More than 80% of the students could end up with at least one job offer in their hand. As far as core are concerned, it purely depends on individuals. Core jobs aren't given to a high volume of students. IT sector jobs are highly provided by the hiring companies. Only 20-25% of students were placed in core companies. The highest salary package offered was 22 lakhs per annum by Amazon whereas lowest package offered was 4 lakhs per annum. The college has a placement cell which works effectively towards bringing more companies to the campus. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Honey Wells, Cisco, TCS, etc visit the college and participate in campus placement drive.
Infrastructure : The campus is spread 400 acres, located in Ettimadai of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. It consist of 4 blocks, 5 canteens and one big central library. There are 10 hostels, 2 for girls and 8 for boys. The infrastructure of the college is good. Free WiFi facility is available in the campus. What is required for students is given. It's not so uncomfortable to stay in hostels. A very big library with attached canteen. The food quality of canteen is decent. The classrooms are well equipped with smart boards and a digital projector with a speaker. All the equipments in the lab are well functioning. Hostel rooms are decent and are cleaned on a regular basis.
Faculty : Faculty members in the college are very supportive and available most of the times. The Faculties have good experience in teaching and have done PhD. They are humble and are always ready to help you in your projects, assignments and other work. Most of the faculty member will explain each and every topic very clearly and will ensures that every student can graps it easily. They are always ready to listen hundreds of your doubts and queries.
