College Infrastructure
Infrastructure is at its best thus attracting the students to join the college. On the other hand naturally the climate also helps bring in more students.Laboratories are equipped with newly upcoming technology. It has a very good and feasible structure allowing us students to overcome our fears and concentrate on students skills. They also help us develop in not only studies but also other activities like sports.
Academics
This is a research institution so Academics are excellent. The only area we are lacking in is Transportation Engineering. The faculty are experts in their respective fields. The dedicated teachers are true to their profession and try their level best to help their students.
Placements
We had Corporate related class to enhance our experience in the perspective of interview. They train us through well trained and experienced faculties for verbal, aptitude and personal development skill. so that we go through the interviewing process easily and they even train us through mock interviews. The average salary offered is around 4 LPA.
Value-for-money
I pay approx Rs.250000 in tuition fees every year. Personally, for me, I think it was worth it, considering that it is a private university & the value that the certificate holds in the community. Civil Engineering department specifically is recognized by the National Board of Accreditation for its Curriculum, so the Certificate holds its value internationally. I'm not sure if it is worth it for upcoming students because the fee structure is revised every year.
Campus Life
In-campus living cost is high approx. 1Lakh for mess and hostel. So make sure if economically it is viable, with an allowance of at least 5 to 6k every month for any additional expenses. Economically speaking it is a big investment. Overall Campus life is exciting and outstanding.

College Infrastructure
Regarding the above, the only thing lacking is new age laboratory instruments like digital universal testing machine & Digital Consolidation testing apparatus. We still do have the analog counterparts but, considering it to be an A grade University with high tuition fees this is a downside. The campus infrastructure is amazing and even the faculties are superb.Living spaces are very good and the cool climate definitely helps.Food is fine and hygienic .
Academics
This is a research institution so Academics are excellent. The faculty are experts in their respective fields and are approachable.I'm doing a Btech in electronics and instrumentation engineering because i've always been fascinated with how things work and components of a machine.Curriculum is updated.
Placements
If you want to pursue in core Engineering, only a few core companies hire during Campus-Placements. There are mass recruiters (BYJU's Etc.) and getting in is a piece of cake with a good starting yearly salary about 5LPA.Campus placements itself is conducted by a department (called CIR - Corporate & Industry Relations) who work around the year to help students get placed. They also help students to hone their skills in Aptitude & Practical English right from first year.
Value-for-money
I pay approx Rs.250000 in tuition fees every year. Personally, for me, I think it was worth it, considering that it is a private university & the value that the certificate holds in the community is good. There are a lot of oppurtunities to excel at Amrita.
Campus Life
The campus is one of the most beautiful campuses that I have been to. It is out of the city premises, fully filled with trees, that create an awesome ambience for the students here. Overall Campus life is exciting and outstanding. The location is absoltely safe.

Regarding the above, the only thing lacking is new age laboratory instruments like digital universal testing machine & Digital Consolidation testing apparatus. We still do have the analog counterparts but, considering it to be an A grade University with high tuition fees this is a downside. We do not have any specialized labs for Transportation Engineering if that's what you are looking for.
Academics
This is a research institution so Academics are excellent. As I previously mentioned the only area we are lacking in is Transportation Engineering. The faculty are experts in their respective fields. More information here--> ( https://www.amrita.edu/school/engineering/coimbatore/civil ) under faculty tab. We still lack an experienced faculty in Transportation Engineering //So lookout if you want to pursue Transportation Engineering.

Amrita School of Engineering offers courses in different streams of engineering. Apart from that, there are other courses which the university offers. That include Masters of science programs, Master of arts programs, etc. The best part about the college is the mixture of cultures present here. There are almost equal number of students from all South Indian states and there are few from North India too. And secondly, the campus is one of the most beautiful campuses that I have been to. It is out of the city premises, fully filled with trees, that create an awesome ambience for the students here. Now talking about things that niggle you, one, the food here may not really be upto your expectations, but it is edible for sure. Two, the wardens and the hostel rules are so unpleasant to hear to. Especially for the girls here. Three, you need a gate pass to leave the campus premises, which the warden must approve. Otherwise, the college is real fun to be in.

The day I joined this college, I had a lot of fear of surviving in this university. But then later I felt good having a charming environment by my faculties and mates. It explores a lot of cultural habitat and mixed knowledge, I really had a nice exposure of technology and core improvement I would ensure a vast change in my life since i joined this college. Laboratories were equipped with newly upcoming technology and the behavior of the staffs are pleasant by their nature. We had Corporate related class to enhance our experience in the perspective of interview. They train us through well trained and experienced faculties for verbal, aptitude and personal development skill. so that we go through the interviewing process easily and they even train us through mock interviews. We even have a variety of food in our mess cooked with love and care. On the whole we enjoyed the college life with value based education and technology. My life at Amrita will be an unforgettable memory through-tout my lifetime.

The campus has an awesome charisma. The college has an excellent infrastructure as well as tries to inculcate the course in the best possible way. The dedicated teachers are true to their profession and try their level best to help their students. The college has got its own placements training department which is really efficient in getting atleast 80% of its students placed. Other than the academics, there are various student clubs which can indulge one in other extra curricular activities. The hostel is neat and clean but it too has its own strict rules.

The clg is quiet attractive to the fresher's cause of the mountain view and well-maintained entrance of the clg.But when it comes to faculty part it is very disappointing. They say it to be world class established one but actually not. Finally, I have to say that it is totally not worth of it.

Amrita school of engineering(ASE) has professional researchers and well-trained faculty members whose teachings always facilitate the students to sprout out with the innovative ideas and transforming minds. ASE has a smoothing academic life. The classes follow 5-day week schedule and commences at 8am till 3:30pm,thus, providing the students ample amount of time to bridge their theory with the practical scenerio.During the summer breaks, the students opt for internships in the corporate world such as DRDO, BSNL, HCL, etc. Faculty motivates and are always there to elucidate the confusion and zeal the students in a extreme corporative way.

The academic schedule is done in such a way that the courses offered gives the entire domain knowledge for students in their respective domains. Me, being in Electronics and Communication Engineering had a proper exposure to all the domains especially in communications and signal processing. The assignments given in certain courses actually relates to real life situations and the tests actually checks your concepts. The professors are available to the students and will to clear the doubts. The courses such as networks, fpga implementation, image processing and other courses are also available.

A positive about Amrita is its environment. It's a good atmosphere to for learning. They train students from 3rd year depending on their interests for higher studies, placement etc... They have a separate department to train students for this- cir(corporate and industrial relations dept). They train us in all aspects like aptitude, verbal, leadership, stage performance etc... We can tell lot about cultural clubs. They give importance to sports. Talents in all areas of the students are found, developed and showcased.

Amrita is a place where we get to learn about life too... We got to realize that there is a beautiful life beyond books and classrooms. Though the rules are very stringent...its fun. We enjoy it, both following the rule and breaking it at times. A beautiful campus. Amrita teaches us more of value for life. They encourage knowing our culture and following them. I'm sure no other college can give us this pride on our culture.

When you enter Amrita coimbatore, I'm sure you'll love the green environment, the cool climate (you don't need fans at times). The infrastructure is surely a positive to the college. Let's talk about the teachers. Most of the time the teachers are PhD holders and have high erudition. You can approach them anytime you want to get your doubts cleared. But there are a few facilities who are not up to the mark. But the number is very low. My second semester math teacher was so dedicated. He used to give xerox copies of all important concepts and formulas and also gave his mobile number so that we can contact him in case of any doubt. There is a separate block for cse students with 3 floors and the classroom is also spacious. The library is very big and contains almost all the books you'd require. But at times there are only older editions. The number of story books is also less. There is also a big swimming pool. You have to pay rs. 10 per hour which is pretty cheap or you can get a monthly pass for rs 80. Swimming coaching is also provided for beginners which is quite affordable. But as the college is a private college, the fees is high and not affordable for all. Overall it's worth studying here.

Our college has great infrastructure and good atmosphere. it is good place to learn more. it has more resources to learn new things. Teaching and education provided to us has good quality. Placements provided to almost 90% of students and college ensures that they get call letter in time.Affordability of courses are pretty good and manageable . Hostel is maintained clean and health of the students is taken care by internal clinic.

First of all, we have a very good infrastructure and greenery which most of the colleges lack. It offers a great platform to all the students in their own field of interest to bring out their talents. We are equipped with all the educational facilities like lab and workshops which helps us to gain lot of general knowledge other than the portions that we have for exam. We have faculties who are very much friendly and helps us in our projects and building up our positive for our carrier. Hostel which has all necessary facilities including gym and dispensary. And a vast ground to just go and experience the fun in sports.

The experience of studying here was good. Learnt to live independently. Good culture. Good infrastructure. But poor food. Very strict rules inside campus. Average faculty. Placements very poor for chemical, Aerospace, civil and eee. I wud suggest only come here if u r take cse. Better try other institutes if you really want to become a good engineer.

As the title mentions, my college has one of the best environment to live in. I am having a wonderful student life here. I am not only talking about the eco-friendly environment but also the academic and social environment that I have got in my college. Talking about the academic side, we have a proficient faculty set, who are very much research oriented. Thier encouragement has played a very important role in my life. Thanks to them. About social environment, the students are very friendly and focussed on their career, which motivates me to stay focussed and aim higher.

Its one of the Finest colleges. The college has lot of points to be covered in the positive side, but its also has its Negative. 1. We don't have freedom to have a gate pass to get out of the campus even in case of emergency. 2. The mess food is fine.. but it is not satisfied for the fee which we give for the mess. 3. It has an amazing infrastructure and management. 4. CIR has a best relationship between industries, so the placements are good here. 5. This college is affordable for its best education and for the finest faculties. 6. There are some exceptional professors who are in-charge for the gate pass. 7. The Cleanliness of the campus is just amazing. 8. We do have a DJ night which gets over by 8 P.M which is of no use.

The campus infrastructure is amazing and even the faculties are superb. Placement record from past 5 years is 100% with an Avg salary of 5 lakh. Though it does not fall under one of the top notch engineering institutes but it carries a different and lovable culture in its curriculum. It's a great place for students to gather knowledge as well as to bring out their talents as it gives us a lot of opportunities in many aspects. Since there are good placement records here, you can be assured to have a successful career once you leave this institution.

Amrita campus is the world on its own. it has everything you need. The infrastructure is amazing .All the class rooms are equipped with projectors . labs have the latest equipment. Amrita has good tie up with foreign universities and provides excellent opportunities for students to grow and develop their skills. Many American's attend international conferences etc all around the world every year. The Professors are all highly qualified and really helpful. The Main specialty of Amrita is 100 % placements and its placement figures are increasing every year.

The college has a wonderful campus and environment that is utterly wasted. Hardly a few college events and any interaction between students. There are just a few co-curricular activities in a year. Mess food is dull and repetitive. Unjustly filtered Wi-fi, which can be dreadfully slow or won't even connect at times. Needless restrictions on entry/exit and attire restrictions. Laundry facility offered at hostels are unsatisfactory. The teaching, non-teaching staff, and the students are all divided on most matters. Placements are known to be good.
