I got jee main 55 marks and st candidate can i get a seat in nit

According to your marks you have chances to get lower branch at NIT and according to previous year cutoff you may also be eligible for jee  advanced. But the cutoff of NITS and jee  main vary every year so you can't completely rely on any data. You should wait for the ranks. You have chances to get a seat in NIT but not much.
You can know with surety only when results will be out.

Cutoff mark can not be predicted exactly because it depends upon various factors.
