To keep yourself in a safer zone, you must score at least 60% score in KCET (PCB). For one marks your rank may vary from 1.5K to 2k . For the rank you have mentioned it is just difficult you to get veterinary college, But don't lose hope because KCET cut-off changes every year based on different factors like students appeared for exam etc.

The cut-off for general category students is 50% whereas for other categories it is 45%. However, your rank is not good enough to secure a seat through the KCET to a veterinary science course. According to previous years cut-offs, the rank for in-house students in around 12,000. After this rank, it is tough to secure admission for this course in any college. Don't lose hope if you have rural or kannada medium reservation with category-1 you may get seat in 3rd round.
