If you are bounded to get admission in mtech and you are not getting admission in another NIT then you can take admission in this but I want to tell you that there is no lot of Lab about the branch related faculty is not so good and infrastructure is also too bad bcz NIT Uttarakhand dose not have their own campus till now the classes of nit srinagar going in a polytechnic campus so I want to advise you do not take admission in this take admission in another nit if you are getting any other but #ye_apki_mjboori_he_to_ap_le_sakte_ho thanks hope you understand please upvote me

Comparing to institutes like Netaji subash institute of technology or dtu or even other private institutes, NIT Srinagar stands a bit low in the ranking and placements also.  electrical power and energy systems do have a good scope on terms of jobs. But, it is not that easy comparing with courses like CSE or ECE. So, if you are able to procure a seat in any other colleges in any branches, go for it. Else, have this itself as your choice.
