There is no relation between the percentile score and the marks you can only get to know the position of you in the merit list if you know the total number of students but the absolute score is not able to get from the percentile scores because there is no relation between absolute marks and percentile score

72 percentile means 72% students are behind you in the JEE main exam it means 28% students are ahead of you so up around 10 lacs students appeared for the exam it means your position is around 2.8. Lakh which is not a good rank.
