Let me clear your doubts.this is not your JEE Advanced rank.This is the rank which you have got is for the preparatory course which is different from the actual course.A one year preparatory course is oferred top the SC/ST candidates to improve the intake capacity in B.Tech and Dual programme.A range of around 30-40 candidates from the non qualified candidates are shortlisted.Non qualified as in those candidates from the unrserved category could noty qualify and those vacant seats are oferred to the SC/ST and Pwd candidates.

You will be trained for one year under IIT and then if you qualify,you will oferred a seat to the undergraduate course from the next academic session.You will not be offerred a seat if you fail to qualify.
