NEET is an entrance exam for admission in courses like MBBS BDS BAMS etc

The eligibility criteria for NEET entrance exam is 10+2 from a well recognised board in Physics Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology.

The percentage requirement to be eligible for NEET in PCB is as followed:

UR/EWS- 50%

OBC/SC/ST- 40%

UR(PH)- 45%

Since your marks are above 55.6% you are eligible for the NEET entrance exam wheather you belongs to any category.

But, getting a MBBS college will depend on your performance and rank in NEET and not on the marks obtained in 11th or 12th std.

If you are supposing for a Govt. MBBS seat try to score above 580+ as previous year cutoffs.

Yes you can appear in NEET exam with these marks.

Candidate applying for NEET exam must have passed physics, chemistry, biology and English individually in the 12th class. Unreserved category candidates must have scored a minimum required percentage of 50% marks in physics, chemistry and biology in their class 12.

Scheduled caste/ scheduled Tribes or other backward classes (OBC) candidates should have scored a minimum of 40% in physics, chemistry and biology in aggregate in 12 class.

You will be provided government colleges on the basis of marks you score in NEET exam. After the results are out you will be provided with ranks the more high your rank is the more good college you get in. According to your achieved ranks you are given streams as vetinary, dental (BDS), surgical and others.
