Hello Kiruthik,
Definitely You should not lose your hope. However it is very difficult to get admission at this rank. According to previous year cutoff, Closing Rank for ECE Branch in VIT Vellore Campus was 14,500.
But don't lose hope, in case if fewer candidate goes for counseling then you can get admission otherwise not.
