If you have filled for improvement exam but kn case you don't appear in the improvement exam then nothing will happen,  I mean your result will be still but you will never be able to improvement exam again as only chance is there for improvement exam , so if you want to increase and improve your percentage,  you should give improvement exam and shouldn't skip it , but in case you skipped your old result will be still valid.
