No, you cannot change your category after the JEE Main exam . The category you selected while filling out the form (General) will be considered for the final result and rank list.
However, you may get EWS benefits in JEE Advanced and JoSAA counseling if NTA allows category correction during the result phase or if JoSAA permits document verification under EWS. What You Can Do:
If no correction is allowed, your JEE Main rank will remain under General, but you can still use the EWS certificate for JEE Advanced and college admissions if permitted.
