I had got 78% in jee mains can I get a seat in NIT

Hi Mavuri,

I don't think it will be possible for you to get a seat in any branch of any NIT because you need to secure a rank of below 50k to stand any chance and that too in lower NIT's.

Your rank would be around 2 lakh mark which is definitely not enough even you have a home state quota.

Depends on your category.

If you are from SC/ST category then you might get some lower NITs whose cutoff lies in that range only where your marks are.

But for that you need to qualify the eligibility criterias too! that is you need to get 75% marks in boards or equivalent exam. or be in  top 20 percentile and must have passed all the subjects in boards.
