The basic eligibility criteria for of IMU CET 2021 (Merchant Navy Examination) is that the candidate must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board or any institution with minimum of 60% aggregate marks.

Mathematics is a compulsory subject for appearing in this examination, so as per your query, you are not eligible to join merchant navy since you are from commerce stream.

I am sorry but the eligibilty for merchant navy course is to have completed your 12th  Science stream with PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Maths) as compulsory subjects. Unfortunately you annot go for merchant navy as a career choice since you did not have science subjects in 12th.
