IMU CET 2023 - The authority has issued the IMU CET 2023 admit card. Registered candidates can now download the IMU CET admit card 2023 using application id and password. The authority will conduct the IMU CET 2023 on June 10, 2023. Candidates who wish to appear for the entrance test of IMU CET 2023 could register online till May 23. 

Candidates willing to get admission to the BTech programme must have scored 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics in 10+2 and 50% marks in English in class 10 and 12 exams. For MTech courses, applicants must have 50% marks in 10/10+2/UG degrees (5% relaxation for SC & ST candidates).

Candidates appearing for the exam must refer to the IMU CET 2023 syllabus and exam pattern for their preparations. Candidates can also go through the IMU CET sample paper to check the important topics & chapters asked in the exam previously. IMU CET 2023 for B.Tech comprises 150 questions from physics, chemistry, mathematics, English, and also general aptitude. The syllabus is based on the 10+2 level.

Admission and Types of CETs

After the conclusion of the exam, the exam authority will release the IMU CET 2023 result on the official website. Applicants qualified on the basis of IMU CET results will be called for the counselling process later. The authorities will conduct IMU CET counselling only for admission to its six campuses. IMU CET B.Tech Counselling

Indian Maritime University conducts the IMU CET counselling in online mode for seat allotment to various courses offered by its six campuses. The registration process for participation in online counselling will be available at the official website. Candidates can check their eligibility for IMU CET 2023 online counselling by consulting the rank lists published by exam authorities.  

The IMU CET counselling process included steps like seat allotment and document verification. During document verification, the candidate will have to submit originals of all relevant documents, including mark sheet and certificates. Only those candidates who successfully complete the document verification will be considered for admission. 

Candidates who are allotted a seat in each of these rounds will have to pay the programme fee within the given deadline to confirm their seats. The first admission list has already been released on the official website. 

Counselling registration fee: Short-listed candidates will have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 10,000 to participate in online counselling. 

Admission fee: Any candidate who is allotted a seat in any of the seat allotment rounds will have to pay a non-refundable sum of Rs. 25,000 towards programme fee as per the given schedule.
