Hi,

With a NEET score of 218, your chances of getting admission into BHMS depend on several key factors like your category General/OBC/SC/ST , your home state, and whether you’re aiming for a government or private college.Typically, government BHMS colleges have cut-offs above 300 marks, so it might be challenging there. But you can explore private colleges, especially under management quota or for reserved category candidates, often accept lower scores. So yes, you still have a decent chance, especially through state AYUSH counseling. Be sure to participate in your state’s counseling process.

Keep these documents ready:

  • Your NEET 2025 scorecard
  • Class 12 mark sheets
  • Category certificate (if you’re eligible for reservation)

Hello,

You can get colleges with these marks, but they will be private or lower-ranked colleges. Also, you can't get into college through the AIR, or All India Rank, quota; instead, you need to apply for the state quota to get this admission. Sorry, but with these marks you have a very slim chance to get into top government colleges.

I hope it clears your query!!

Hello Good Noon,

.         With 218 marks in NEET 2025, getting into a government BHMS college will be very tough , especially if you're General category. Their cutoffs are usually much higher.

However, you might have a better chance with private BHMS colleges , especially if you're from a reserved category (like SC or ST) . Some private colleges have lower cutoffs.

What to do now:

  • Wait for official results and counseling details. These will show the exact cutoffs for this year.

  • Participate in counseling. Even if your score seems low, join the All India and State Quota counseling processes. Seats can open up in later rounds.

  • Research private colleges. Look into specific private BHMS colleges in your state and check their past admission scores.

Don't lose hope yet, but be realistic about your options.
