There are 5565 MBBS seats available for UP State Counselling. This is spread across all Categories. OBC takes 27% reservation among the NEET State reservation. That is approximately 1502 seats including Government and Private MBBS seats. But as your focus is on Government Medical College, if we do the Math, there are approximately 2500 Government MBBS seats. OBC takes 675 seats approximately across all sub categories. This year the cut offs have gone way higher taking everyone by surprise. With 537 marks, you might have a shot in mop up round because there have been candidates who have scored 572 marks and yet havent secured a seat in any GMC of UP. Stay for the remaining rounds of Counselling as you have nothing to lose. If you gain, you might gain a seat.
