Hello

Can you please help us with your category ?

It's quite difficult to predict whether you will be eligible for JEE advanced or not as qualifying cutoff percentile keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But if we look at past year trends, for example jee main in 2019 qualifying cutoff percentile to be eligible for JEE advanced is given below for different categories

General :-89.7548849

GEN-EWS :- 78.2174869

Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) :-74.3166557

Scheduled Caste (SC) :- 54.0128155

Scheduled Tribe (ST):-44.3345172

PwD :- 0.11371730

So , which 70.4 percentile in JEE mains you may not be eligible for JEE advanced if you belong to General or OBC category but if you belong to other categories i.e SC/ ST then you hold a good chance and can be eligible for JEE advanced examination

Thankyou
