Well it's a very good percentile, try for NITs first if u have reservation well don't think of other chances directly get into good NITs if not don't worry talent cannot be hidden you can choose state level universities or even top private colleges.

You might have already understood that why I'm preferring these colleges because you asked which colleges are best for mechanical engineering so I can say that only top level universities provide good faculty for mechanical so if you choose mechanical then go for to colleges which suits you best.
