Hello Aspirant,

See it's quite difficult to predict your admission chances in any of the B-Schools until and unless we know the expected percentile at least in CAT 2020, either in all sections or overall because to be eligible for admission to B-Schools such as IIMs, FMS and so on, one needs to clear the sectional cut-offs as well as Overall cut-off percentile and along with this his/her academic performance and work experience (if any) is also considered. So please help us with your overall expected percentile with your academic scores as well.

However I am describing down the admission criteria for some top IIMs so that you can get an idea about the admission process, and also note that there are different admission criteria for different IIMs so let us discuss for some of the top IIMs :-

IIM Ahmedabad

Admission process for IIM A is a two step process. First step is for preliminary screening on the basis of Sectional cut-offs and overall cut-offs along with different rating points for IIM A which are described in the tables below and you need to clear sectional cut-off as well as Overall cut-off :-

Thank you so much for your valuable information. As per the percentile predictor, my over all percentile turns out to be 88. Regarding my Academic Background I have more than 90 percentage in both 10th and 12th and CGPA of 8.8 for my graduation. I have 2+ years of work experience too. However I feel that my DILR sectional score is too low to get shortlisted to Tier 1 B schools. Could you please help me with the list of B schools which doesnot have any sectional cutoff?
