I have applied for JEE under OBC NCLcategory. If I change my option to general is there any brighter chance for admission.

Hey,

"Your future is always bright when you stay focused, optimistic and confident."

Firstly, you need to show the certificate of OBC category at the time of admission in any college. So, you should fill the category which is applicable to you whether General or OBC or any other.

Also, cut-off marks for OBC are little less than as compared to General category, but you should go with the original category in your documents.

You must look for hard-work, analyze your weak points, and clear your basic fundamentals so that your category won't make any difference while taking admission.

All the best!
