No, if you want to take Standard-Mathematics in the second board exam or Class XI/XII, you have to qualify for Standard-Mathematics in the Class 10th exam. If you have appeared in Basic Mathematics in your 10th Board, you can not switch to Standard Mathematics in Class 11 or Class 12 board exam.
