The EWS certificate is valid for one year. The date of issue of the certificate will determine whether or not it'll be valid at the time of admission. If it is valid then you have nothing to worry about. If it has already been a year you can renew you EWS certificate.

The validity of EWS certificate is one year from the date of issue. So if your certificate was issued after the counselling dates, viz mid march, then you can use that certificate, however, if it was issued before march then you must get a new one issued.
