Yes , the IELTS score will affect your visa for australia . Any individual must have a proof to show the enough English proficiency in the Englsih language which helps them to survive in another country .

Very low score in IELTS will affect , but average score should be fine , it will depend upon the viva officer whether to allow an average score or not.

Hello Student!

As you've already been selected for working in Australia ;
Your IELTS score will affect your VISA in a way if you've a score below the minimum requirement.
Which is, overall average score of 5, with a minimum score of at least 4.5 in each band.
But if it's above, it won't affect how much above.
