The eligibility criteria to apply for OUAT are that a candidate must have passed 12th in science stream with minimum 50% aggregate marks and 40% marks (for SC/ST/PH category) from a recognised board. So, yes you are eligible to apply for OUAT provided you pass the CET of the university for admission into B.Tech.The candidates will only be selected for admissions based on their Merit (Weighted Score) which is further based on his/her performance of academic career, Entrance Examination and Extracurricular activities. The complete eligibility criterion for admission into various UG and PG programmes for OUAT is provided below:

Nationality: Indian National candidate domiciled in the Orissa state can apply.



Age Criteria: Candidate applying for UG admission must have completed 17 years of age as on 31/12/2019.



Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have passed his/her 10+2 level with Science from a recognized Board or University.

Qualifying subjects: Candidates must have passed his/her 10+2 level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.

Qualifying Marks: Applying candidates in 10+2 level must be passed with minimum aggregate of 50% marks (For ST/SC/PwD candidates  40%) with extra optional.
