Dear aspirant,

Iam sorry that you won't be able to attempt JEE Advanced 2022 examination.

As per the eligibility criteria of JEE Advanced, 2021 will be your final attempt since you completed 12th in 2020. This means you can attempt JEE Advanced only in the years 2020 and 2021. Candidates who have passed 12th in 2021 can appear for JEE Advanced 2022.

For JEE ADVANCED a student can do two attempts in two consecutive years. Thus if you have given JEE ADVANCED 2020 then you are eligible for JEE ADVANCED 2021 and not 2022 i.e., you are eligible to apply on the year of your boards and one year post the year of your boards. If you have missed the JEE ADVANCED 2020 then you are eligible only for 2021.

Hello student,

I will try to answer this query.

See, For JEE Advanced, exam you get one less attempt than JEE Main(3 attempts - 3 years) exam. Hence, the total number of attempts(years) for JEE Advanced is two. One in the passing year of JEE Advanced and the other one is in succeeding year.

As you said you have done your 12th in 2020, so you had two chances to appear for JEE Advanced, one in 2020 and the other one in 2021.

Unfortunately you will have to miss the JEE Advanced exam in 2022 and of further years.
