Firstly,  let me tell you that , if you are from CBSE board and had got RT or failed in two of the subjects then you may appear for Compartment exam which gives you three chances to clear your boards. First chance in the month of July - August,  second in the month of April - May next year and third in the July - August of next year.  If you still didn't abled to clear the boards then you will have to take readmission and give the board examination for all the subjects.

Now,  if you prefer national institue of open school,  that is also good if you certainly failed in your boards.

Few facts and  of nios are :

nios:

· It offers education via Distance Learning.

· If you prefer Self-study/if you can study without any teachers help then nios is best option for you.

· If you’re not a person who really want to go to school every day then also then board is for you.

· If you prefer   to study at your home without anybody’s interruptions then it is for you.

· If you want to properly drink your whole subject’s content then also it is for you.

· If you prefer more study content in books then also it is for you.
