Hello,

The Indian Air Force has stringent medical standards, and a history of cataract surgery is generally a disqualifying condition for entry, especially for flying duties. So you are likely to be permanently disqualified from joining the flying branch in the IAF, but you might have a chance for private or civil aviation. According to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, you should meet the specific conditions that they have and pass the required medical examinations.

Hope it helps!!!
