Yes! It will make you trouble during document verification process. You won't be rejected from counselling but at the time of admission process for alloted college they will verify all your documents, and if it found to be false information on document it would be trouble in admission process. It would be better if you make an affidavit stating your mistake and produce the original date of birth certificate/10th marksheet at the time of admission. Hope they will help you out.
