Hello Aspirant,

You should have minimum 45% marks in Class 12th to be eligible for admission to St. Xavier's, Mumbai. The admission for BA courses are based on the merit list prepared from the marks scored in class 12.The cut off percentage is different for different categories and as you have not mentioned your category so it is little bit difficult to guide you accurately. However, for BA courses 50% of the total seats are kept reserved for Christian Community and Management Quota.

For your reference I have enlisted down the previous years' cut-off percentage :-

  • General : HSC(Arts) - 92%, Others - 98%
  • Christians : HSC( Arts) - 84%, Others - 93%
  • SC - 82%
  • ST - 81%
  • OBC - 91%
  • PH - 86%
  • Special - 97%
  • DT/NT - 51%
  • SBC - 75%

Here, HSC(Arts ) refers to the Arts stream of Class 12th of Maharashtra State Board. Note that above cut-off is given to you just for idea and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!
