As we know it is difficult to get admission in IIT's or NIT's. As you said that you have secured 27 marks, so it would be difficult to get admission in EcE branch. Based on the previous year's cutoff, you will get an idea about the expected cutoff for GATE for IITs this year.
That’s why I would suggest you to try improve your marks.

Based on this score the chances are less to get a seat in IITs, NITs to get ECE branch. If you wish to get admission in IITs, NITs then I would suggest you to appear again for GATE Entrance Exam.
