The chances are a little less since the cut off scores for private colleges also go higher than what you have scored.
Nonetheless, if you are eligible to attend the counseling,do attend it.

Dear Mohammed
300 marks is a decent score, to get into private colleges also you need to have good score. Its very difficult to get seat for your score, unless you have some other reservation.
